Christian Dior Street Chic Columbus Hobo by John Galliano
The Find:
This is the Galliano era, the years that made Dior collectible. The Street Chic Columbus hobo is pure early-2000s utilitarian glamour: a slouchy half-moon body in brown leather, a wide grommet strap pulled straight from military hardware, and that unmistakable polished Dior plaque holding it all together. Galliano-era Street Chic pieces have become archive grails, and the leather Columbus is one of the harder ones to find in good condition. This is the real thing, monogram lining and all.

Condition:
Good vintage condition. Brown leather is supple with a soft natural slouch to the body. There is staining on the underside of the shoulder strap that is not visible when the bag is worn, shown in the photos. Otherwise honest patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Grommet strap, hardware, and monogram lining are intact and clean. Zip runs smoothly.
Authenticity:
Verified authentic by California Boho Studio. Engraved Dior strap hardware, polished Dior cutout plaque, Diorissimo monogram lining, and Made in Italy construction confirm a genuine Galliano-era Street Chic Columbus.
